In some cases they're cast a distance in front of the player. It looks like the game plays around with the bubbles a bit, too. Your ability to open up bubble-portals to the other world at least lets you see what threats are lurking there, and there's some interesting mirroring of moving objects going on to enable some potentially clever puzzles. Unlike Limbo, death doesn't seem to be lurking around every unseen corner. Some of them are quite menacing for what appears to be a bloodless game, although not showing blood didn't stop Limbo from having some horrific violence. I do rather like the game's storybook art-style and the designs on the monsters, especially. The game looks very nice already, but Alien Pixel are planning on taking it to Kickstarter next month to help finish production. Floppy-hatted spellcaster Soli can open bubbles of alternate reality, solving puzzles by revealing and briefly entering a second world that may be just as hostile (if not moreso) as your own. Unveiled today from new studio Alien Pixel Studios, it's a vaguely Limbo-ish puzzle platformer with a dimension-hopping twist. The content we produce is obviously not free of use should you want to upload our videos on your own website or YouTube channel. The world is a dangerous place, as is the other, second world that the little wizard in Unbound: Worlds Apart can open portals to. We now also produce HDR videos, which can only be enjoyed by those who own compatible televisions. At a time when Youtube's subpar video compression has become the norm for most people on the Internet, we refuse to give up quality without a fight. The HD content we provide always respects the original resolution and framerate of the games we capture, making Gamersyde the one and only place to get 1080p/4K/60fps videos with high bitrate. We are able to offer fast news delivery and HD content from the upcoming games, and one of the greatest and friendliest gaming communities in the world. We cover both handheld and video games platforms and the site has grown into one of the biggest gaming sites in the continent. Gamersyde is a commercial multiplatform web portal based in Europe, with hundreds of thousands of visitors each month from all over the world. To sum up, Unbound: Worlds Apart is a good find to keep busy this summer whatever system you own. You will also have to face a few bosses and if you're the explorer type, a certain number of lost mages need to be found in secret areas. Expect to die many times in the course of the game much like in Limbo. The bottom line is that to avoid the dangers lurking around him, Soli will need good reflexes to survive the many traps and creatures he will encounter. Soli will obviously acquire these new dimensional gates when progressing through the world, but he will also unlock additional moves (double-jump, wall-run, etc.). As usual, we will not reveal the ten different portals that become available, so you'll remain spoiler free. This allows him, among other things, to make a platform appear or a flooded area to disappear, but he can also modify the gravity around him or even alter time itself. In case you don't know, it is a Metroidvania which includes a dimension mechanic as the little mage we control is able to create a portal around him, this portal opening a gateway to another world. Apart from a few slowdowns (which could sometimes be a little annoying when dashing), we have had a really great time playing the game. Today, Alien Pixel Studios' title is getting released on PC and Nintendo Switch. At the time, we captured the full Prologue of the game which was available on Steam. We already told gave Unbound: Worlds Apart some coverage a little over a year ago.
